Torts purely for the entertainment factor, it would be hilarious to watch his post game press conference after a loss. I wonder who the first reporter will be who gets a new one ripped.

I would absolutely not hire Martin. Word came from back East that the Canucks had spoken with him while at the combine. Doesn't sound like the same type of interest in him as the rest.

Tortorella is a guy I would prefer not to hire. He is intriguing, but in that Mike Keenan kind of way. He's high risk, high reward. He needs to find the right fit and the Canucks may, or may not, be it. Seems like a huge gamble that could pay off, but could just as easily go completely sideways.

I think if they know they're going to hire Torts they should trade Edler first. He seems like the most likely whipping boy. So much talent, not enough consistency.

I would have no problem with someone lighting a fire under the Sedins every now and then.

If they did hire Torts it should be put into his contract that he has to treat Cox the same way he treated Larry Brooks. Like the garbage he is.

The thing about Torts as an entertainer is that he is at his best in news scrums when the team is losing so it's win-win. When the fans are treated with a poopty loss they are compensated with an awesome post game sound bite from Torts. Everyone is a winner!
